2. Description of Service

AccessAudit AI provides automated web accessibility auditing powered by AI. The Service scans publicly accessible web pages, identifies accessibility issues based on WCAG 2.2 standards, and generates AI-powered remediation suggestions.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scan websites you do not own or have permission to scan
  • Use the Service to perform denial-of-service attacks or overload target websites
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Resell or redistribute scan results without authorization
  • Circumvent rate limits or other usage restrictions

5. Free Scan Terms

  • Free scans are limited to 3 per day per IP address
  • Free scans analyze a single page only
  • Free scan data is retained for 30 days
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free scan feature at any time

6. Paid Plans

  • Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
  • Refunds are available within 14 days of initial purchase if you are unsatisfied
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

7. AI-Generated Content

The AI remediation suggestions provided by our Service are generated automatically and are intended as guidance only. While we strive for accuracy:

  • AI-generated code fixes should be reviewed by a qualified developer before implementation
  • We do not guarantee that implementing suggested fixes will achieve full compliance
  • Automated scanning cannot replace comprehensive manual accessibility testing
  • Legal compliance determinations should be made in consultation with legal counsel

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, algorithms, and branding, is owned by AccessAudit AI and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your websites and content. Scan results and reports generated by the Service are licensed to you for your use.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AccessAudit AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
